Typical questions + policies

Where are you located?

Tuesday-Wednesday I work at a tattoo shop in Venice. Thursday-Saturday I work at a private studio located in Downtown Los Angeles. When an appointment is booked I’ll send you the address along with instructions on how to get into the building etc. Only street parking is available.

What do you charge?

My minimum is $100. Something palm sized is usually 250-350 and hand sized is usually 500-600. For larger projects it’s 200 an hour. It’s hard to give a definite price before the tattoo is drawn and size is finalized. Let me know if you have a budget. Flash might be priced lower than normal prices.

Do you do conventions and guest spots?

YES! I would love to hear if you would like me to visit where you live! I post where I am going to be on my instagram when I travel in the future.

Touchups

I offer free touch ups (unless there is a strange circumstance). To book a touchup I require a photo of the tattoo. If you think you need a touch up please wait a month before trying to book one. Tattoos take 2-4 weeks to heal. Sometimes the healing process looks a little strange. Tattoos do not heal as bright as they first look.

Aftercare

Tattoos take 2-4 weeks to heal. After the tattoo is wrapped, leave on for at least 2 hours for it to settle down. Take off the wrap and wash the tattoo with a NONSCENTED antibacterial soap (liquid foaming soap is best). Try Dial or Dr. Bronners (dilute Dr. Bronners).

Do not wrap again, let it breathe. After washing pat dry with a clean towel or paper towel. Let air dry a bit and put on a TEARDROP size of Aquaphor, A+D, or Hustle Butter (Hustle butter is a vegan alternative but cannot be bought in regular pharmacies). Wash and put on ointment 3xs a day for 3 days. After that, NONSCENTED lotion as needed (Lubriderm, Aveno, something natural etc.)

NO ocean, pool, or bath (no soaking) for 2 weeks. Shower normally. If the tattoo is near your hair (ie. Neck, behind the ear, etc.) after washing clean the tattoo so that shampoo residue doesn’t stay inside the tattoo.

Scabbing is normal. DO NOT scratch or pick off the scab. Let it be.

For the first two days be careful of your tattoo sticking to your clothes or sheets. I recommend wearing black and having dark sheets. If your tattoo does stick to sheets or clothing, use water to loosen it.

Refrain from working out within the first couple days. You don’t want to heavily sweat on your tattoo, have your tattoo touch dirty equipment other people have touched and sweated on, or rip the scab open with a quick movement.

Deposits

Deposits are to be sent after the appointment date is discussed, decided, and is $100. They go towards the total cost of the tattoo and will be taken out of the total cost of the tattoo day of the appointment. A deposit holds the appointment spot. I plan, draw for your appointment, and don’t book anyone else in your time slot. Therefor the deposit is non refundable but can be transferred 48hrs before the appointment. If you cancel within 48hrs of the appointment you lose the deposit and will have to send another deposit if you want to reschedule. If cancelling before 48hrs, and you reschedule twice, you will also have to resend another deposit. Deposits will be sent through Venmo and please use a random emoji in the notes. Thank you so much for understanding!
